This seminar is appropriate for beginner embroiderers and those who have some experience but would like to brush up on their skills.

Embroidery is an incredibly satisfying and artistic pursuit that has existed for over 2000 years ( maybe even longer)  It is a creative way to add colour and beauty to textiles, and it can be an art-form in it's own right. It is meditative and soothing, and really gives the embroiderer a chance to express themselves through colour and the luxurious texture of yarn.  

The seminar runs for 5 hours and will include a break for lunch mid way. It will  covers 7 stitches of traditional embroidery (not cross stitch)

Participants will have the chance to complete a sampler and become confident in the stitches we cover. The seminar will also look into embroidery pattern transfer and creation. All materials are included.
