Participants will have the opportunity to make an embroidered cushion or wall hanging. 

The seminar is appropriate for intermediate and beginner embroiderers.

If you live closer to the west end this is a great opportunity to have a look at what's new in Handmade Revolution's collection. Lot's of great vendors will be making up the show and there will be food, drink and conviviality a plenty.

Handmade Revolution will be onsite all day, selling gorgeous items of jewellery. If you live in the east end, this is a great chance to come out, get started on the Holiday shopping early and see all the new pieces in person.

Have a great Halloween costume idea in mind but are you worried it's a bit beyond you? In the Halloween costume clinic you can learn sewing and crafting skills, while making yourself a spectacular Halloween costume.  Aurora Simmons has experience with sewing, leather-working, wire frame creation and general creative costuming. She can help you design and create your epic costume idea. Once you sign up, you will be sent a questionnaire regarding your costume ideas so that Aurora can best prepare the materials that you might need. 

You may supply your own materials or have Aurora source materials for you. Some will be included in the seminar fee, some may be extra.

This two-part seminar will teach teens from 14 to 18 the basics of costume chainmail creation. Participants will be able to create jewellery or costume details for themselves.  It will be located in Meeting Room 3, on the third floor of the Center for Social Innovation at 720 Bathurst st.

A chance to see some of Handmade Revolution's new jewellery in a relaxed, hands-on atmosphere. You can expect pleasant conversation, beautiful jewellery and delicious tea and treats.  Located on the ground floor of The Center for Social Innovation in meeting room 5.
